There are also lots of food minimarkets and shops along with several big street markets. A lot of instant products inported from China, Korea and Japan, such as nooddles, mash potatoes, dry nuts and fruits are available on the market. Fresh vegetables grown locally are quite expensive and compete with imported veges from the main land. Fresh oranges and apples are also expensive. There is a great choice of salted, dried and smoked salmon, but the cost of it is nearly about the same as in Moscow. The same story is about red caviar on the market. However it's fair to hunt for canned sea lobsters and scallops, which is on "under-shelf" sale. It's cheap, because it's smuggled stuff in most of the cases.
